About Us
Mobile Developers of Berkeley is a dynamic tech club at UC Berkeley, founded in 2015, dedicated to mobile/full-stack development and fostering a vibrant community. We bring together passionate developers, designers, and innovators to create impactful projects for startups and learn from each other through club hackshops, training programs, and collaborative events.
Our mission is to provide hands-on experience in mobile and web development while building lasting friendships and professional connections. Whether you're a seasoned developer or just starting your coding journey, MDB offers a supportive environment to grow your skills and make meaningful contributions to real-world projects.
Projects
We take 3 client projects each semester, ranging from Mobile to Web to ML to Game Dev, our members are passionate about many fields and ready to tackle any problem
Training Program
A 13 week intensive program, we teach you the basics of full-stack development, culminating in a newbie app fully ideated and created by the new member class, which is published on the App Store
Community
We love our MDB Community!! It is the most important part of the club, and is essential to who we are. From social, to study sessions, to retreat, we truly believe in creating a welcoming and supportive community for our members to suit all their needs.
